  • Anchorage House's 5 Star luxury bed and breakfast has recently been named as one of 'The 100 Finest Places to Stay in England' by Enjoy England, and 'Best B and B/Guest Accommodation in Cornwall' by VisitCornwall.
  • Our newest guest bedroom 'Desirable' is outside the main house in the courtyard area and is ldeal for guests with mobility problems and wheelchair access.
  • We offer free Wi-Fi internet service for guest with laptops.
  • Special Services Offered: Jane is happy to arrange special bouquets, chocolates, champagne or wine to be in your room upon arrival for that special occasion.
  • For long-term travellers, a laundry service is available for a small fee.
  • We are totally NON SMOKING throughout the house.
  • We use duvets and bottom sheets on all our beds, but let us know if you prefer top sheets or blankets.
  • We can sell advance 'Fast Track' tickets to the Eden Project, but they are also available at a discount through the www.edenproject.com website.
  • Dress code: In our experience guests like to dress smart/casual when dining in the evening.
  • Credit cards accepted (Maestro, Delta, VISA, MasterCard). A 2% surcharge applies (excluding deposit).
  • Ample private/secure parking available.
  • Our indoor Swimming and Leisure Complex is available for use by guests all year. The pool will be open at 7:30 AM for guests wishing to swim before breakfast, and reopen at 4 PM until 8 PM for guests wishing to swim before dinner. A nominal fee of £3 per person per session applies for guests desiring sauna treatments. One hour advance notice is needed to warm up the sauna.
  • Outdoor hot tub is available for guests.
  • Gym facilities are available.
  • A beautiful back garden for guests to enjoy.
  • Anchorage House B & B is Child-Free and we are not set up to take children under 16.
  • Sorry no pets. We have our own.
  • Complimentary afternoon tea is served on the day of arrival between 4 PM and 6:30 PM.
  • Check-in: We ask our guests to not arrive until around 4 PM when checking in.
  • We are often away from Anchorage House in the early afternoon, but if you wish to come back earlier than the normal 3-4 PM let us know and we will make sure to be here.
  • On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room by 10:30 AM.
  • Eden Project: A 1.2 mile walk through our village via country roads and special footpaths, or a 5 minute drive. We sell fast track tickets to speed up your entry.
  • Pine Lodge Gardens and Tregrehan Gardens: 500 yards.
  • Near Around Cornwall coastal footpath and classic walks.
  • Lost Garden of Heligan - 6 miles.
  • Landhydrock House (NT) and Bodmin Moor - 10 miles.
  • Fowey - 6 miles.
  • Charlestown tall ship harbour - 1 mile.
  • Carlyon Bay beach and golf course - 1/2 mile.
  • Five golf courses within 15 minutes.
